Excelsior Youth Services recognizes and respects the uniqueness of every child. The organization's primary mission is to foster a love of learning in each student, while having fun at the same time. Our super after-school program, mobile weekend mentoring program, and our power-house summer camp adventure uses curriculum that skillfully weaves artistic and practical disciplines into everyday life skills, academics and fun. Students learn to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, and to work both independently and cooperatively with others. More importantly, they learn how to do it, while having fun.
We celebrate diversity and strive to instill integrity, compassion and confidence in each child. We give each child support and encouragement to become his or her own unique self.
Through project-based learning, Excelsior Youth Services students develop better ways of thinking and performing in general. They focus on logical thinking, analytical thinking, and critical thinking, in ways that are engaging, meaningful, realistic, and adaptable to a variety of learning styles and fun.
We're prepared to meet the educational, social, and cognitive needs of all elementary, middle, and high school children.
